Stack Status Indicator

Using the stack status LED

Each electronic block has a LED light in its corner that can be green, red, or orange.

Red indicates a fault condition.

Green indicates normal operation.

Flashing orange indicates that a block is sending or receiving messages from other blocks.

This indicator is particularly useful when connecting a stack to your ethernet, WiFi, or cell network.

  • Rapidly flashing orange indicates that a communications block is looking for a network connection.
  • This rapid flashing will stop once a network connection is established. Note that while a stack is connected to your network, firewalls can still prevent devices from accessing the internet.
  • Once connected, intermittent orange flashing indicates that a communications block is sending and receiving data.
