Stack Management Widget

Summary


The Stack Management widget is an administrative widget that displays a list of all stacks you own alongside key information such as name, location, etc. Click the three dots under ‘Actions’ to open a menu where you can perform important tasks, including:

  • Setting up text or email alerts and manage recipients
  • Configuring tag properties such as names, units, and states
  • Managing stack properties such as name and location

The interface


The stack management widget is configured automatically. See the interface below.

  1. Actions: Click here to open a menu where you can take actions on this stack:
  2. Multiselect: This feature works in concert with the filtering function to easily navigate large numbers of stacks. Select stacks as you browse, and then filter to show only selected stacks.
  3. Label: The name of a stack. This property can be edited by selecting Manage Stack in the Actions menu.
  4. Last Updated: The last time that a software update was pushed to a stack.
  5. Status: Gives an approximate indication of the quality of connection to a stack, in green/yellow/red.
  6. Location: The physical location of a stack. The property can be edited by selecting Manage Stack in the Actions menu.
  7. Owner: The primary administrator of the stack.
  8. Search: Search functionality for browsing large numbers of stacks. Filters as you type.
  9. Filter: Opens a menu allowing you to filter by any of the column headers.
