This infrared reflective proximity sensor is great for object counting, for example in a packaging line. Its range is 1″ to 4″. Use with the Interstacks I/O Expander block.

Additional Notes

Connects to one input on the I/O Expander block. Can be powered by the I/O Expander’s 5V power output. The sensor’s 5V digital output is counted by the I/O Expander input when configured as digital input, count edges.
