Using the Interstacks REST API
The Interstacks REST API allows you to securely send data to or retrieve data from your stacks for use in other systems or internal workflows. This can support centralized reporting, enterprise system integration, or automated analysis based on your live tag data.
The API follows standard REST design and returns JSON-formatted data. You can fetch time series data, access tag metadata, or summarize state and count activity across a time range.
Common use cases include:
- Importing data from third-party systems into MyStacks
- Exporting tag data for enterprise reporting or planning systems
- Automating analysis or workflows using real-time or historical tag data
To get started, please email info@interstacks.com to request an API key and developer documentation. A support engineer will help guide your integration.
