MyStacks Update 3.6 – Dashboard cloning, quickly swap stacks and tags

November 24, 2025

This update introduces a new toolset that allows you to quickly reassign the connected stacks and data tags in a dashboard en masse, reducing or eliminating the need to rebuild dashboards from scratch. This makes it much easier to reuse existing dashboard layouts and quickly roll out new deployments.

Duplicate dashboards and swap in new stacks and tags

You can now duplicate any dashboard and reassign the underlying stacks, data tags, and widget names in one smooth process. This is especially useful for customers rolling out similar deployments across multiple machines or sites. Instead of recreating dashboards by hand, simply clone one, point it to a new stack, and remap everything.

  • Add or remove shared groups to manage dashboard access
  • Update all references on a dashboard from one stack or tag to another
  • Use find-and-replace to update widget labels to match new lines or locations (e.g., “Factory A” ? “Factory B”)
  • Apply all changes to a new duplicate of the current dashboard, preserving the original

You’ll find the new Manage Dashboard menu under the three-dot menu, in the upper right of every dashboard. For a full walkthrough, check out the support article.

Indexed Tag Editor for large-scale deployments

If your dashboard uses indexed tags, you’ll see an additional ‘Indexed Tag Editor’ tool to shift multiple tags in one action.

  • Update a range of tags, like Sensor01-10 to Sensor11-20
  • Replace prefixes to align with naming conventions at different sites, like changing Humidity01-10 to Temperature01-10

This enables rapid re-use of dashboard templates for users with large quantities of tags.

This update makes it easy to add new machine lines or launch entire new locations, without rebuilding dashboards or reconfiguring tags one at a time. Just duplicate, remap, and deploy. As always, we’re here to help you get the most out of the Interstacks platform. Reach out to discuss your project any time at info@interstacks.com.
